    Hi,

I'm having an issue checking into PayPal's system after registering on my site.

    My PayPal tokens are:

    &item_name=PTR-Subscription&item_number=1980639&currency_code=USD&amount=9.99

I have verified that no spaces exist.

The message I receive from PayPal is:

The link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid. Please review the link and try again.

How can I debug this issue?

    Thanks,

    Bacus

    Hi Trent,

Looks like you're setting up a subscription and there's a couple of things here:

    1.  Please make sure you select 'subscription' and not 'purchase' for the PayPal Payment Type.

    2.  For a subscription type of transaction, you cannot use &amount= (this is only used for 'purchase' types).  Instead, please use &a3=, &t3= and &p3=.  A3 is the amount to be charged per billing period, t3 is the billing cycle (D, W, M or Y) and p3 is the number of regular billing cycles.

You can review these parameters in PayPal HTML Variables for Website Payments Standard under HTML Variables for Subscribe
    Buttons.

You might also want to review our Demonstration # 16 and Demonstration 17 for specific subscription settings.

Let me know how this works out for you.  Thanks!
    Candace
