What I have setup is a drop down box with some options, when the user clicks an option it loads some radio buttons below. What I need to do is have those radio buttons default to either "enabled" or "disabled". (A check already in the disabled box that the user will see).

    Ideas?

HI, if you edit your radio button, under Advance Field Options, there is an area for you to set Default value (uncheck the "No default value" checkbox) and choose either "Enabled" or "Disabled" as the default value.

Hope this answers your question and points you in the right direction on what you want to do. -- David

Is this the same for dynamic questions? When I manage my question and go where you said I do not see that option. The radio boxes come up once they select that question.

HI, yes it should be under the "Advance Field Options" when you edit that particular field. Please see the picture below for reference:

Default value is blank. Nothing to look at or change.

I have this coming up as gridview / survey. Which is how I need it to look. But still need enabled or disabled to be set by default.

HI Scott, I wasn't aware that you were using a GridView / Survey field and not a radio button field. In that case, if you want something selected, you can edit that entry and check the box for "Initially Selected Column: ". See if this will work for you. -- David

That does not give me the option to select anything. Other than the checkbox that says "Initially Selected Column:"

Also when I changed that then went back in it seems as though my settings did not save.

Can you export your form to www.betasprings.com (username: host, password: dnnhost) and state the URL/TABID so we can take a look at it and get a better idea of what you want and see if it's possible? Thanks. -- David

     I will do that.

Some of my areas do work, some dont. I see no difference between them.
