We are using Dynamic Forms (3.40.10) on DNN (05.04.04).

We are trying to upload files with the File Attachment/Upload field.  Our test consisted of uploading a .DOCX file.  This file is in the allowed file types of the host settings.  When I try to upload the file, the form refreshes and displays a message with a Yellow Warning Icon and a message that states TEST MESSAGE at the top of the page.  I am not sure what is causing this issue.  When I try to upload a .TXT file, the form works fine.

Pleaste Note:  I've tried uploading a .DOC, .DOCX, .XLS, .XLSX, .PPT, .PPTX, and .PDF file, all of which are in the host settings allowable file types, and none of them will upload.  I recieve the odd "TEST MESSAGE" each time.  Again, if i try to upload a .TXT file, the form submits.

Also Note that I've checked the fields Alternate Allowable Extensions field and it is blank, which indicates that it should use the list in the host, host settings.

    Please advise.

    Hello DNNGuy,

Can you please refer to this image:

There are known issues with the upload field where if you don't include an error message for file extensions as shown in the image, this exact same thing happens that's happening to you.

Please let me know if this helps.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

Hi guys... I have just confirmed as well that this bug has been fixed in the upcoming patch of 5.4.3 which will be posted by the end of the week.

    Thanks!
