Because I have over 250 responses to a form, the function "export results to Excel" unfortunately does not work anymore (it times out). Therefore I have tried to use Dynamic Views, but I also had no luck there because this module does not accept forms that have over 100 fields. It throws an SQL error.

I am now wondering how I can still retrieve the data that is stored in the database. Perhaps I can do a manual query in Dynamic Views, and in this way retrieve all the data in two parts? The problem is that I don't know what kind of queries Dynamic Views expects.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

We have found some performance items that we are adding into the next release (4.1 which is currently in Beta right now). You might want to try and run this query:
    CREATE NONCLUSTERED INDEX IX_DynamicForms_QuestionResponse
    ON dbo.DynamicForms_QuestionResponse(DynamicQuestionID, UniqueREsponseID

After you run this under Host, SQL, and then you go to Host/Host Settings and click "Restart Application", do you notice that everything starts working A LOT faster when it comes to exporting the results?

    Thanks!

    Hi Chad,

Thanks a million, it works! Great, now all forms can be exported again :-).

    Bye, Marc
